Increased Precautions We're Taking in Response to the Coronavirus
As updates on the impact of the coronavirus continue to be released, we want to take a moment to inform you of the heightened preventative measures we have put in place at Western North Carolina Comprehensive Treatment Centers to keep our patients, their families, and our employees safe. All efforts are guided by and in adherence to the recommendations distributed by the CDC.

In adherence to the social distancing recommendations provided by the CDC, we have implemented strict protocols at our clinic to ensure the safety of our patients and staff.

  • Patients who have active symptoms of illness or a fever of 100 degrees or higher must call ahead to arrange after-hours dosing.
  • The number of people allowed inside the building at any given time is restricted based on county, state, and federal guidelines.
  • The number of people waiting in line is restricted based on county, state, and federal guidelines, and those present must maintain a minimum distance of six feet from one another.
  • To maintain line restrictions, patients are asked to wait in their cars until direction is given.

For specific information regarding these changes and limitations, please contact us directly.

Please note that for the safety of our patients, their families, and our staff, on-site visitation is no longer allowed at Western North Carolina Comprehensive Treatment Centers.

  • This restriction has been implemented in compliance with updated corporate and state regulations to further reduce the risks associated with COVID-19.
  • Alternate methods of communication for other services are being vetted and may be offered when deemed clinically appropriate.

Our Therapeutic Treatments

Therapeutic Treatments for Opioid Abuse

In addition to providing patients with medication assisted treatment, Western North Carolina Comprehensive Treatment Centers invites patients to take part in our therapeutic interventions to aid in the progression of their treatment. In order for patients to achieve lasting recovery, we believe that treatment for both the physical and psychological components of their addictive behavior must be addressed. Once patients are able to understand what may have caused them to turn to opioids in the first place, we are able to provide healthy coping techniques in order to prevent relapse. By utilizing therapeutic interventions to compliment the medications that are prescribed, Western North Carolina Comprehensive Treatment Centers provide patients with the tools necessary to progress towards a life free from the dangerous cycle of addiction. The medications that we prescribe within treatment safely alleviate the symptoms of withdrawal while simultaneously provide patients with the mental clarity that is required in order to productively play a role in the therapies we offer. Western North Carolina Comprehensive Treatment Centers is proud to provide patients with the following therapeutic services:

  • Group therapy
  • Individual therapy

Our Therapeutic Interventions

Therapeutic Interventions for Opioid Abuse

Our team of counselors is specially trained in the fields of addiction and recovery and are readily available to assist patients throughout their treatment. Individual sessions allow patients to work one-on-one with a counselor in order to address the underlying behaviors, emotions, and situations that may have contributed to their addictive behaviors in the first place. Group therapy sessions are counselor-led and allow patients to come together with their peers to openly discuss a variety of topics in a safe environment. Group sessions provide patients with the chance to provide and receive support and encouragement from other patients who understand firsthand the struggles associated with addiction and recovery. The frequency of sessions will be dependent upon each individual patient’s treatment plan as well as their individual needs.
