Increased Precautions We're Taking in Response to COVID-19

LAST UPDATED ON 03/15/2021

As updates on the impact of the coronavirus continue to be released, we want to take a moment to inform you of the heightened preventative measures we have put in place at Western Carolina CTC Cluster to keep our patients, their families, and our employees safe. All efforts are guided by and in adherence to the recommendations distributed by the CDC.

In adherence to the social distancing recommendations provided by the CDC, we have implemented strict protocols at our clinic to ensure the safety of our patients and staff.

  • Patients who have active symptoms of illness or a fever of 100 degrees or higher must call ahead to arrange after-hours dosing.
  • The number of people allowed inside the building at any given time is restricted based on county, state, and federal guidelines.
  • The number of people waiting in line is restricted based on county, state, and federal guidelines, and those present must maintain a minimum distance of six feet from one another.
  • To maintain line restrictions, patients are asked to wait in their cars until direction is given.

For specific information regarding these changes and limitations, please contact us directly.

Please note that for the safety of our patients, their families, and our staff, there are certain restrictions in place regarding on-site visitation at Western Carolina CTC Cluster.

  • These restrictions have been implemented in compliance with updated corporate and state regulations to further reduce the risks associated with COVID-19.
  • Alternate methods of communication for other services may be offered when deemed clinically appropriate.

For specific information regarding these changes and limitations, please contact us directly.

CDC updates are consistently monitored to ensure that all guidance followed is based on the latest information released.

  • All staff receives ongoing infection prevention and control training.
  • Thorough disinfection and hygiene guidance is provided.
  • Patient care supplies such as masks and hand sanitizer are monitored and utilized.

The safety of our patients, their families, and our employees is our top priority, and we will remain steadfast in our efforts to reduce any risk associated with COVID-19.

At Western North Carolina Comprehensive Treatment Centers, our goal is to provide each patient with personalized care and a superior overall experience throughout their time with us.

We believe that a key component of providing effective care is ensuring that each person who chooses to heal with us is empowered to play an active and informed role in their treatment.

Because treatment at our centers is customized according to the unique needs of each patient, the cost of care will depend upon the types of medication and therapies that are incorporated into each patient’s treatment plan. For this reason, the cost of care may vary from patient to patient. Prior to starting treatment, each patient will review his or her treatment plan and be made aware of all costs.

Clients who will be paying for their treatment with personal funds will be required to pay for all services in advance. We will accept cash, money orders, and major credit cards that have been issued in the patient’s name (or the name of the person who is paying for the patient’s treatment).

Those who will be using their insurance benefits to pay for treatment must be aware of the following:

  • All insurance coverage and eligibility must be confirmed by one of our staff members prior to the start of treatment.
  • Our staff members are happy to assist any patients in verifying and accessing their insurance benefits.
  • Unless informed otherwise by one of our staff members, all patients (even those who are paying with insurance) should be prepared to pay for services in advance.
  • Insurance patients may request an invoice that they can submit to their insurance providers to request reimbursement for any out-of-pocket expenses.
