Increased Precautions We're Taking in Response to the Coronavirus
As updates on the impact of the coronavirus continue to be released, we want to take a moment to inform you of the heightened preventative measures we have put in place at Western North Carolina Comprehensive Treatment Centers to keep our patients, their families, and our employees safe. All efforts are guided by and in adherence to the recommendations distributed by the CDC.

In adherence to the social distancing recommendations provided by the CDC, we have implemented strict protocols at our clinic to ensure the safety of our patients and staff.

  • Patients who have active symptoms of illness or a fever of 100 degrees or higher must call ahead to arrange after-hours dosing.
  • The number of people allowed inside the building at any given time is restricted based on county, state, and federal guidelines.
  • The number of people waiting in line is restricted based on county, state, and federal guidelines, and those present must maintain a minimum distance of six feet from one another.
  • To maintain line restrictions, patients are asked to wait in their cars until direction is given.

For specific information regarding these changes and limitations, please contact us directly.

Please note that for the safety of our patients, their families, and our staff, on-site visitation is no longer allowed at Western North Carolina Comprehensive Treatment Centers.

  • This restriction has been implemented in compliance with updated corporate and state regulations to further reduce the risks associated with COVID-19.
  • Alternate methods of communication for other services are being vetted and may be offered when deemed clinically appropriate.

For specific information regarding these changes and limitations, please contact us directly.

CDC updates are consistently monitored to ensure that all guidance followed is based on the latest information released.

  • All staff has received infection prevention and control training.
  • Thorough disinfection and hygiene guidance has been provided.
  • Patient care supplies such as masks and hand sanitizer are being monitored and utilized.
  • Temperature and symptom screening protocols are in place for all patients and staff.
  • Cleaning service contracts have been reviewed for additional support.
  • Personal protective equipment items are routinely checked to ensure proper and secure storage.
  • CDC informational posters are on display to provide important reminders on proper infection prevention procedures.
  • We are in communication with our local health department to receive important community-specific updates.

The safety of our patients, their families, and our employees is our top priority, and we will remain steadfast in our efforts to reduce any risk associated with COVID-19.

The CDC has provided a list of easy tips that can help prevent the spread of the coronavirus.

Our team of knowledgeable professionals provides patients with a customized plan of treatment to meet their individual needs and treatment requirements. Asheville Comprehensive Treatment Center employs a team of expert physicians, nurses, and counselors in order to provide patients with the highest quality of care as they embark on a future free from the chains of addiction.

Our team works closely with patients to insure that the appropriate medications and dosages are administered in order to provide patients with a safe and effective treatment experience. The following prescription medications are available for patients to utilize during their time at our center:

  • Methadone
  • Suboxone
  • Subutex

The specific medication that is prescribed as well as the dosage that is given will be dependent upon the unique requirements of each individual patient. Any alterations to medications will be made by our qualified physicians.

Our Treatment Therapies

In addition to the medications that are prescribed, patients are also invited to take part in the following therapeutic interventions in order to further their progress in treatment:

  • Group therapy
  • Individual therapy

We believe that in order for patients to achieve lasting recovery, they must receive care for the underlying behavioral and emotional factors that may have contributed to their addictive behaviors in the first place. These therapeutic sessions provide patients with the education and support necessary in order to progress in their treatment on an emotional level while in a safe and supportive atmosphere.

If you or someone you love is battling an addiction to opioids, please contact Asheville Comprehensive Treatment Center today. A healthy, happy, and substance-free life is within reach.
